Silantes - Stable Isotope Labelled Biomolecules for your Bio-NMR Projects.
More than 20 years ago, Silantes GmbH emerged as a spin-off from the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Munich. With this long-standing expertise, we use biotechnological fermentation techniques to label biomasses with stable isotopes.
Our unique biotechnological production technology brings a decisive advantage over conventional chemical synthesis methods:
The 13C-, 2H- and 15N-labelled biomolecules from our production are characterised by an exceptionally high homogeneity in their quality, which is especially important in the field of bio-NMR.
Our product range includes:
- Uniformly and site-specifically stable isotope labelled nucleotides and phosphoramidites, as well as a service for the synthesis of stable isotope labelled oligonucleotides.
- Ready-to-use complex media for the expression of stable isotope labelled proteins in E.coli or yeast cultures as well as labelled amino acids for cell-free protein synthesises.
- Stable isotope labelled NMR Standards.
- D2O, 13C-glucose and 15N-ammonium salts.
Visit us at our workshop on Thursday between 12:35 and 12:50 to learn more about our technology, our products and exemplary fields of application or contact us directly if you have any questions.
